The BenQ widescreen displays E2200HD and E2400HD
Beginning of October BenQ becomes one of the first manufacturers on the market to present two design displays in the new 16:9 1080p format – the 21.5-inch E2200HD and E2200HDA monitors. Both models have a black piano finish and feature a native resolution of 1920 x 1080p, a high 10000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and a fast 2 ms response time (GtG). The E2200HD which is equipped with HDMI™1.3 port and DVI connection (with HDCP support) guarantees uncompromising visual enjoyment of HD media content. The widescreen models also feature Senseye®+Photo technology and are certified for use with Windows Vista® Premium. Thanks to a host of technical features, the displays are ideal for use in the office, at home or for entertainment.
In particular, fans of multimedia and games consoles such as the PlayStation3® and the Xbox 360® will benefit from the new 16:9 full-HD displays in widescreen format. The displays enable full 1:1 image reproduction of full-HD material (1080 lines). Images are thus reproduced in their highest native resolution with no loss in quality. As the 16:9 format is standard for Blu-ray, HD-ready and full-HD images, a 16:9 display is the only way users can enjoy a true full picture with no distracting black bars at the top and bottom of the screen. The E2200's HDMI™1.3 port also allows fast data transmission from HD media servers with no compression losses. A headphone socket and integrated stereo speakers round off the wide range of multimedia features the display has to offer.
The monitors are also ideal for office use, supporting current operating systems including Windows Vista® and all popular office applications and productivity software solutions. The widescreen format offers more convenience, space and flexibility for document management and CAD, graphics and design applications. The large-format display offers a greater active image and workspace area for positioning toolbars and displaying Word documents, Excel files and graphics simultaneously alongside one another.
With 16.7 million colours, the widescreen displays guarantee excellent image reproduction. This brilliant quality is also assured by the further-developed Senseye®+Photo technology from BenQ. It offers an additional sRGB colour mode that adjusts the colour temperature and gamma value precisely to the specifications of the sRGB colour space. Thanks to 300 cd/m² brightness, images are ultra sharp in all lighting conditions.
